
Turn Left Turn Right is a joint Hong Kong-Singaporean film as stated in the wikipedia which was filmed in Taiwan. It was Directed by and at the same time produced by Johnnie To Wai-ka Fai.
The film stars Takeshi Kaneshiro, a Taiwanese-Japanese actor and singer who also stars in numerous films. As well as Gigi Leung, a Hong-kong Singer and Actress. Takeshi who takes on a role of a violinist that sheds his greatness over music. Gigi, who portrays as Eve, a writer and translator for a book publishing company. She is to translate foreign books to Chinese wherein the film shows her translating a few documents and books such as a horror novel. The two characters gets acquainted with one another in the past but was unable to advance their relationship because Eve was unable to retrieve John's number when he gave it to her since she left her bag in the train, and in the bag consisted of John's number.
The two individuals grew up to the point wherein they would meet in different places and not recognize each other until the day wherein Eve has her translated poem composition fly over the fountain waters and fortunately John was able to help her retrieve the water-soaked papers which brings them being close to each other to the point where they talk about their past and recognize each other. The two exchange phone numbers as rain starts to pour and with them not having any umbrellas, they come home soaked in the rain and the day after, they found out that the telephone number they had given to each other were also affected by the rain which makes it unreadable.
